Youth Music Therapy

Youth Music Therapy

Part of the Strengthening Families Initiative

Saturdays | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Youth Music Therapy provides children with a fun, supportive space to explore their emotions and build confidence through music. Using instruments, rhythm activities, movement, and creative expression, participants develop healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and positive self-expression.

As part of our Strengthening Families Program, this group helps youth:

  • Build self-esteem and confidence

  • Improve focus and emotional regulation

  • Develop social and communication skills

  • Express feelings in a safe and creative way

No musical experience is needed. Sessions are engaging, culturally responsive, and designed to support the overall well-being of Black English-speaking youth and their families.
