The CDNBCA is launching its Youth Council, made up of 10 motivated billingual youth ages 16 - 25 who will help shape programs, support Circonflexe planning, lead projects, and create initiatives that matter in our community. This is your chance to step up, share your ideas, and make a real impact!

The Youth Council will:

  • Meet once a week from November 24 to February 6
  • Receive a $50 honorarium for 4 sessions
  • Gain leadership experience while connecting with like-minded youth
  • Build new skills and contribute to events and programs that reflect their ideas and interests

This opportunity is offered in collaboration with Circonflexe, a program dedicated to French Language proficiency, mentorship on professional development.

The CDNBCA is launching its Black Mental Health Advisory Committee, bringing together community members, practitioners, and advocates to strengthen mental health research, programming, and services that truly reflect the needs of our community. This is your chance to share your insight, lived experience, and expertise to help shape meaningful change.

The CDNBCA is launching its Black Mental Health Advisory Committee, bringing together community members, practitioners, and advocates to strengthen mental health research, programming, and services that truly reflect the needs of our community. This is your chance to share your insight, lived experience, and expertise to help shape meaningful change.

The Advisory Committee will:

  • Review community survey and focus group tools
  • Validate findings from literature reviews and gap analysis
  • Provide feedback on data summaries and recommendations
  • Act as a sounding board and liaison to the wider community on issues related to Black mental health

This initiative is part of Pathways to Healing, a program that promotes culturally relevant, and trauma-informed approaches to wellness.
